Family Performance Marine was a little boys dream. Now it is a grown man’s dream come true. I have had a passion for boating since I was young and by the time I reached my teen years I knew I wanted to be in the Marine business. This dream turned into a lifetime goal and after 20+ years of dreaming I have been blessed with my own dealership.

I started in the industry by detailing boats. This could be the reason why I set the bar so high for my staff and the care for our customer’s boats. I worked my way into Sales, Financing and Management. I have been fortunate enough to have many experiences over the years. My travels have given me the opportunity to deal with boats ranging from 17’ – 50 plus feet, anywhere from Cruisers, to Performance Boats. I have had the privilege of running down the Lake of the Ozarks at speeds nearing 150 mph. What an exhilarating feeling!

Yet with all of my experience my heart is still into family boating. I believe there is no better way than boating with family and friends. My wife, Jenice (Warranty & Sales), her daughter Brittany (Parts & Accessories) & our Grandchild, LJ (Trainee), are all a very important part of making my dream a reality. We are family owned and operated.

We are centrally located in the Midwest and have a beautiful location close to Des Moines, in Bondurant, Iowa. This location gives us great access for customers and all the bodies of water in Iowa.

We carry the full Bennington Marine product line; Azure Boats, Bennington Pontoons and Tritoons, and Sedona Pontoons. We are an authorized Mercruiser, Volvo Penta, and Yamaha Outboard dealer and will provide outstanding service. We have a great selection of new and pre-enjoyed boats.
